Oversee operations in various fields located in Texas Panhandle. Responsibilities and skills developed include estimating reserves; economic evaluation of development drilling, recompletions, acreage farmout, and property acquisition/sales; maintenance and optimization of waterflood operations; open and cased hole logging; design and selection of perforating, acidizing, and hydraulic fracturing treatments; prepare exhibits for and give testimony in Texas and Oklahoma State Commission hearings. Accomplishments include receiving special award bonus for initiating recompletion/development drilling program in N.W. Stillwater which led to new reservoir discovery. Prepare well plans for drilling wells, detail completion/workover prognosis, and cost estimates. Evaluate bid sheets, select drilling rigs and contractors, obtain drilling permits. Work one half of time in field supervising drilling rigs and various service company personnel.

OPERATION SUPERVISION, Purchasing and Materials, Oklahoma City, OK, 3/00 – 5/00

Re-engineered business processes to reduce costs and maximize value of existing strategic alliances with vendors including direct-shipping up to sixty truckloads annually of polyethylene pipe and initiated direct shipment of day to day items to satellite storerooms.  Launched plan to provide just-in-time delivery of material to build custody transfer metersets directly to fabrication shop eliminating handling and excess inventory for these materials. Reduced $2.2 MM inventory by 18% in three months and stores and expenses by 15%.

KANSAS CITY GAS SERVICE  11/97 – 3/00

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR, Construction and Maintenance, Overland Park, KS  6/98 – 3/00

Supervise construction crews who perform construction and maintenance for sixteen towns with 105,000 meters and 1500 miles of main. Prioritized capital expenditures to lower O & M expenses for area of responsibility.

Supervised field and office employees performing code compliance and construction. Developed three-year plan to eliminate cast iron, regulate all meters, and cut stores in half. Specified pipe, fittings, regulators, measurement and odorization equipment.
