City of Lexington is accepting bids until 11:00 am, on January 17, 2020 for natural gas pipeline construction. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on January 07, 2020 at the City's Operators Center. The project consists of installing approximately 14 miles of 4" PE pipe and 9 mile of 2" PE pipe in the Churchland community in the western portion of Davidson County.
The Laurens Commission of Public Works is accepting bids until 11:00 o'clock a.m. local time on September 20, 2018 for natural gas pipeline construction. Two separate proposals must be submitted for the project as there are two project areas within the City Limits of Laurens, SC; however, one contractor may be awarded both areas. Bid packages must contain bids for both proposals.
The first area is north of downtown Laurens, SC and extends eastward along US 76 Bypass from North Harper Street/ US 221 to Wilson Street, with a small portion near Conway Avenue. This area involves furnishing and installing approximately 4,430' of 8" PE pipe, 4,350' of 4" PE pipe, 3,520' of 2" PE pipe, and approximately 2,000 feet of PE service lines, as well as valve assemblies and other pipeline appurtenances.
The second area is south of downtown Laurens, SC, and east of South Harper Street Extension. This area involves furnishing and installing approximately 4,280' of 4" PE pipe, 51,870' of 2" PE pipe, and approximately 20,400 feet of PE service lines, as well as valve assemblies and other pipeline appurtenances.
